WHY DO WE FOCUS ON "SEXUAL GROOMING"
Grooming is a process of targeting a child and engaging him or her for the purpose of sexual activity.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF "SEXUAL GROOMING"?
The purpose of grooming is to gradually increase access to the intended victim, eventually engage in sexual activity with him or her, and decrease the likelihood that the perpetrator’s actions will be discovered by others, including the victim.The perpetrator’s goal also is to make the potential victim feel comfortable enough to become close to and be alone with the perpetrator, and to keep the sexual activity a secret.

At S.T.O.P. we believe that informing your child about the signs of grooming will greatly decrease the chances of them being sexually assaulted. We want to help all families by giving a very easy to follow step by step process in having the conversation and sexual abuse prevention.
Why is "Sexual Grooming" so Harmful?
When a trusted adult builds a relationship with the intentions of sexually assualting the child, this act creates a level of distrust with all adults. This feeling can create anxiety, self blame, uncertainty and anger. If not handled properly can have sever affects into adulthhood.
The goal of Just One is to put the problem of A child sexual abuse into perspective.
