Parent Safety Virtual Workshop:

Workshop for Schools, Preschools, Churches & Community Groups.

S.T.O.P.- Child Sexual Abuse Prevention : Empowering Communities

S.T.O.P. is a nonprofit focused on preventing child sexual abuse by helping parents recognize the early signs of sexual grooming. Using our acronym S.T.O.P., (See, Tell , Offer, Protect)  creates a guideline on what grooming look likes and how to have an easy, non scary conversation with your child to prevent abuse from happening. Making a conversation focused on "safety" takes away any discomfort in sharing the message.

The open and inclusive workshop is designed for organizations that serve children and families, including:

  • Elementary, middle, and high schools
  • Preschools and early learning centers
  • PTA / PTO groups
  • Churches and faith-based organization
  • Community groups, nonprofits, and youth program

This is a parent-only / adult-only workshop.
Children do not attend, and no explicit content is presented.

S.T.O.P.’s Parent Safety Workshop is designed specifically for parents and caregivers because adults play the most critical role in prevention. Research and prevention experts agree that early awareness, open communication, and protective action by adults are key to keeping children safe.

Parents and caregivers will learn:

  • What grooming is and why it often goes unnoticed
  • Common grooming behaviors used by offenders
  • Early warning signs in children and family dynamics
  • Step-by-step process of how to talk to children about safety without fear

This workshop focuses on prevention, awareness, and empowerment,

NOT fear-based messaging.
